AI Auto Glass is an independent vehicle glass company based at 248 Meadway, Birmingham B33 8NN. The business started in 2025, run by a technician with six years in vehicle glass. We replace windscreens, side, rear and van glass across Birmingham and the West Midlands, fitted where your vehicle already is.

The person fitting your glass is not. Six years in vehicle glass before this business existed, on cars, vans and commercial vehicles, which is where the working knowledge came from: which screens carry which brackets, how a bond behaves in a cold yard in February, what a leak three weeks later actually means.
A new company has to earn trust rather than inherit it, and we would rather do that by being specific than by implying a history we do not have. So we tell you what glass we fit and why, which adhesive we bond with, what your safe drive away time depends on, and when you should not use us.
What we do not claim
We hold no industry accreditations at this stage and we are not going to imply otherwise. Some of the national chains display ISO certifications. We do not have them. What we have is a technician with six years on the tools and work you can check on Google.
What we do differently
We fit OEE glass
Original equipment equivalent: same specification as the pane your vehicle left the factory with, often the same manufacturers, without the brand logo. Same safety standards, less than main dealer prices. Where a car genuinely needs OEM, usually Head Up Display or some acoustic screens, we say so.
We bond with Sika
Sika polyurethane, used in factory installation and aftermarket replacement. Your safe drive away time is worked out from the product and the conditions on the day, not an advertised flat figure.
We calibrate both ways
Static and dynamic ADAS calibration, chosen by what the manufacturer specifies rather than which is quicker.
We are open later
Monday to Saturday until 20:00. Several national fitting centres close at 17:30 on weekdays and midday on Saturday, which is no use if you work.

Where we are and who we serve
We are on Meadway in B33, on the East Birmingham side of the city, close to Lea Hall station. Kitts Green, Stechford, Tile Cross, Yardley and Sheldon are our own doorstep, and the A45 makes the rest of Birmingham and the motorway network straightforward from there.
Are you a franchise or part of a network?
Neither. AI Auto Glass is independent. There is no head office, no call centre and no regional franchise agreement.
That is the reason our pricing sits where it does. myWindscreen recorded a 2026 average of £243 from independent glaziers against £659 from the national chains on comparable vehicles. Same glass standards, different overheads.
You started in 2025. Why should I use you over an established firm?
A fair question, and the honest answer is that company age tells you less than you would think about a glazing job. What decides whether your screen leaks in two years is how the aperture was prepared on the day, and that comes down to the technician, not the letterhead.
If you want the reassurance of scale and a nationwide claims process, a national network is a reasonable choice and we would not argue. If you want the person quoting you to be the person fitting it, that is us.

We are early enough that there are only a few. We would rather point you at three real ones than pad the page.
